Why should the Devil have all the good music?

I understand that this question is a quote from Christian music pioneer Larry Norman; but didn't a composer of clical music such as Brahms or Bach say something similar? Also, whoever first came up with the idea, doesn't the saying refer to genres of music? For example, to use a modern era example, the Heavy Metal (or Hard Rock) genre was thought to be the Devil's music but now it is a popular type of Christian music. I also believe that the moral behind the quote is meant to be applied to all aspects of life.
