FireFighter good job choice?

I am going to be a paid firefighter. but being a Volunteer right know my help out when you do get the job. I am a volunteer and i love it!! it is so cool riding in trucks and teaching little kids =) if you are intrusted becoming a vol. go to your local fire dept. you have to be 14 though.
