Which iPod should I get?

I'm in debate with myself, I don't know wether or not to get a 8gb iPod touch or a 16gb nano. the iPod touch is about $230.00 and the nano is about $200.00 plus tax. Me and my friend don't really know which one is better to get because one of our friends has an iPod touch and we have older generation nanos which is not enough space for me because I have too much music I listen too and its kinda breaking on me. So any opinions about which are better like cons and pros of any kind on the new gen. nanos and the iPod touch? Thanks in advance because I am stuck and a very indecisive person.
